Booking Policies
We have taken the time to prepare for your arrival and your appointment, therefore we ask that you take the time to read our booking policies:
"To secure and confirm your appointment, a full payment or deposit is now required. Once you have made a payment, please note that it is non-refundable and subject to our cancellation policies, as outlined below. This deposit policy applies until the full appointment cost has been paid in advance to confirm the booking.
We strongly advise against booking and paying for any service if you are uncertain. Feel free to schedule a FREE consultation to discuss your needs and concerns before committing to an appointment.
Prior to booking and making a payment, we encourage you to reach out with any questions you may have. Once your payment is processed and recorded in our system, it represents a commitment for both you and us. It also reserves that specific time on our calendar, which becomes unavailable to others, potentially resulting in lost opportunities and revenue for us.
Please carefully consider your decision before booking, as we do not issue refunds. This policy aligns with the nature of our beauty-based services, as they involve the use of products and materials that cannot be resealed or reused due to hygiene and safety considerations. If you wish to make changes to your appointment, such as rescheduling or selecting an alternative service of equal value, please reach out within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time, adhering to our Cancellation/Change policy, which is detailed below."
We accept Debit, Cash and all major credit cards.
Cancellation/Change Policy
We maintain a 48-hour cancellation/change policy for all our services. To make any changes or cancel an appointment without incurring charges, please do so at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time. Kindly note that we do not offer refunds, but you have options for rescheduling, receiving a credit on your account, or using the credit for an equivalent service. This credit is non-transferable and the credit expires 12 months to the date of issue.
Please note that credits for service-based services are not transferable to esthetics training courses offered by us. Our esthetics training courses require us to prepay for supplies for the kits we have to put together, which leaves us out of pocket.
If you need to make changes within 48 hours of your appointment, such as rescheduling or canceling, please contact us in advance. No-shows will result in the forfeiture of your appointment and all funds associated with it.
Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that unforeseen circumstances, such as family emergencies or illness, can disrupt your plans. For cancellations within 48 hours due to such circumstances, contact us directly to discuss the situation. We will assess whether an exemption is warranted, with a rescheduling fee applicable.
Refunds
Refunds are only considered under extraordinary circumstances, and a 25% refund processing fee will be imposed. It is at our discretion to decide whether a cash refund is justified, as we adhere to a policy that strictly limits refunds to situations of extenuating circumstances.
Extenuating circumstances are typically situations that are beyond the control of the customer and are considered exceptional or unusual. Some examples of extenuating circumstances that might warrant a refund could include:
- Serious medical emergencies or hospitalization that prevent the customer from using the product or service.
- Unforeseen and extreme natural disasters or events that disrupt the customer's ability to access the product or service.
- Unexpected legal or regulatory restrictions that prohibit the customer from utilizing the product or service.
Please note that all sales and services are final, and we do not offer refunds for any treatments. Results may vary due to individual skin types, conditions, and adherence to aftercare instructions. We are not responsible for factors that may inhibit your ability to heal or achieve the desired results, such as smoking, alcohol consumption, or other lifestyle choices. By agreeing to book and signing our waiver forms, you consent to and fully accept these terms, taking responsibility if treatments do not result as you hope.
Important Note:
If you purchase the Skin Regeneration Program, please be aware that this is a process and individual results will vary. If you decide to discontinue the program for any reason, the services rendered as part of the package will be charged at full price as individual services, not at the package deal rate. The cost of these services will be deducted from the initial purchase price. Any refunds will be at the discretion of the spa and may be issued as a gift certificate of equal value.
Product purchases are separate and not refundable as we do not accept returns of used or opened products. Additionally, if the Perfect Derma Peel is purchased under the Skin Regeneration Program, it is considered a direct purchase by the client at wholesale pricing. We do not charge to administer the peel therefore no refunds would be available for this initial purchase as the funds used to purchase this peel were paid to purchase the peel itself and no profit was made by the spa for this purchase.
Note for Skin Regeneration Program: The "no refund" policy applies strictly to the Skin Regeneration Program. Refunds for this program are not available unless under exceptional circumstances, which will be at the sole discretion of the spa, and only as a credit or gift certificate.
Skin Regeneration Program Payment Disclaimer:
The Skin Regeneration Program is offered as a comprehensive package priced at $1,500, which includes 4 microneedlings and 4 advanced clinical facials at a special discounted rate. This package is designed to be completed in full for optimal results.
No refunds will be issued for this program. However, if the program is paid in full upfront, without utilizing the financing option, and the client chooses to discontinue the program, the spa may consider providing a credit transferable to a gift card for any remaining balance after deducting the full value of services rendered to date. This credit is at the discretion of the spa and must be used within 12 months from the date of issue.
Financing Terms [payment plan over 3 months] for the Skin Regeneration Program
Skin Regeneration Program Financing Terms:
For clients choosing the Skin Regeneration Program financing option, the total cost of $1500 covers 4 microneedling sessions and 4 advanced clinical facials, which have a regular combined value of $2700. This special arrangement provides a significant discount, saving you $1200 off our regular single treatment prices.
The first payment of $500 is due immediately at the first appointment or booking of the first treatment. Subsequent payments of $500 are due at the end of the month if the treatment date is prior to the 10th of the month when the program is started. If the treatment date is on or after the 10th of the month, the following payments will be due at the end of the subsequent month. Invoices will be sent for the 2nd and 3rd payments on their due dates.
If all payments are not made as invoiced and on their due dates, the program will be considered suspended until all payments are made. This program is designed as a special offer and was initially intended to be fully paid upfront. The payment plan terms are a special arrangement and are non-negotiable. If any payments are missed or not made as scheduled, the payment plan will no longer be honored, and full prices for individual treatments already rendered will apply.
If an appointment is missed without prior notice, unless there are exceptional extenuating circumstances, it will be considered a cancellation, and the missed treatment will be considered used.
No refunds will be issued if the client cancels or opts out of the program. If a client cancels the program prematurely and does not complete the remaining payments, they are required to pay the full price for any services rendered at regular rates. Any remaining amounts will be considered forfeited unless the spa agrees that extenuating circumstances justify the cancellation. Simply opting out of the program for personal reasons does not qualify as an extenuating circumstance, and no refunds or credits will be provided under such conditions.
Please note that these financing terms apply over and above our regular booking policies listed on this page. By selecting the payment plan option, you agree to adhere to these specific terms and conditions.
Tardiness
Your appointment time is valuable to both you and us. We send two reminders 72 hours in advance via email and text to confirm your appointment details. If you anticipate being late, please contact us. We have a grace period of 15 minutes for tardiness. If you do not show up during this grace period, the appointment and full payment will be forfeited.
Client Conduct and Preparation
Prohibited Substance Policy: We kindly request that clients arrive without any signs of alcohol or drugs, including cannabis, at the time of their appointment. Clients under the influence of these substances will be respectfully asked to reschedule. We prioritize safety and do not provide services to clients who are not in full control of their faculties.
COVID-19 Precautions:
Please feel free to wear your mask during your appointment; we are fully vaccinated and wear masks as well to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
Occupancy Limitation:
For the safety of our clients and in compliance with liability and insurance regulations, only one person is allowed in the treatment room during sessions. This limitation is in place to maintain a secure and controlled environment conducive to our services.
Exception for Student Practicums:
The only exception for this, is where a student requires a practical exam session with a Model. In these cases, an exception to the one-person policy is granted specifically for student practical exams.
Liability and Safety:
Our priority is the well-being and safety of our clients. The one-person limitation helps us uphold the highest standards of care and ensures that our services are delivered in a focused and secure environment.
Lifestyle Responsibility:
While we are committed to providing the highest quality of care and delivering effective results, it is important to note that individual lifestyle factors, such as smoking, alcohol consumption, stress and diet, can significantly impact the outcomes of your treatments. Clients are responsible for maintaining healthy lifestyle choices that support the effectiveness of our services. New Beginnings Day Spa is not responsible for monitoring or managing these personal choices. By booking a service, you acknowledge that any adverse effects or diminished results due to these factors are beyond our control, and it is your responsibility to manage them accordingly.
Lash Appointments:
For lash appointments, we recommend arriving with a clean, makeup-free face. If you require makeup removal during the appointment, please arrive a few minutes earlier. Any existing makeup on your lash line may extend the application time and impact the final result.
Additional Services:
If you need additional services, such as a removal before your lash application (with a $60 fee), please contact us in advance so we can allocate enough time for your needs.
Back-to-Back Appointments:
At this time, we currently only offer back-to-back appointments for specific services like eyelash extensions and brow waxing, a popular choice for many. If you opt for this, kindly book back-to-back appointments using our booking app. Please note that the aftercare oil used for your brows might affect the longevity of your lashes, so keep this in mind.
Age Requirement:
Our services are not available for individuals under the age of 16. For clients aged 16 to 19, parental consent is required for any service due to the legal age of majority being 19 in British Columbia, Canada. This ensures that all clients can legally consent to the services we offer by signing a consent form.
